In the UAE, the recommended servicing frequency depends on your car's make, model, and usage.
 

Cars24 Recommendations:

• Distance: Service your car every 10,000 kilometers.
• Time: Service your car every 6 months, whichever comes first.
• Service Types:
  • Minor Service: Every 10,000 kilometers.
  • Major Service: Every 20,000 kilometers.
     

Additional Factors to Consider:

• High-Performance or Luxury Cars: These may require servicing every more frequently  (e.g., every 5,000 kilometers) for optimal performance.
• Extreme UAE Climate: Heat, sand, and dust can demand more frequent servicing to avoid breakdowns and maintain reliability.

The day you receive the delivery of the car is when the actual time-period starts. The first service will be due at 6 months or 10,000 km (whichever comes earlier), from the delivery date.

We have two types of service offerings for Cars24 customers:
 

1. Standalone Services: These are services that are one-time in nature and make sense for you if you are looking for individual servicing  at the 10,000 KM mark (or 6 months mark whichever is earlier) or 20,000 KM mark (or 12 months mark whichever is earlier)
2. Service Contracts: These are annualized contracts of varied coverage (in terms of KM and years), which basically outsources your car maintenance to us so that you can relax and let us take care of your car. We charge a fixed fee for a certain duration and cover all your servicing.

Service contracts offer several benefits over standalone services, primarily around long-term cost savings, security, and convenience:
 

1. Cost Savings: Service contracts are usually locked in for a longer period at a fixed price. This allows you to avoid price fluctuations that may occur with standalone services, which could increase based on market scenarios or inflation over time.
2. Consistent Coverage: With a service contract, you can rely on continuous service for a set duration, ensuring you're not caught off guard by unexpected service needs or prices, as for cars maintenance costs can add up quickly.
3. Warranty Protection: If your car is covered under warranty, failure to do timely servicing means your warranty will go void , however, if you were to buy a Service Contract from us, we will ensure that you don’t miss a scheduled service.
4. Convenience and Peace of Mind: Having a service contract typically includes proactive maintenance reminders and scheduled appointments, removing the hassle of keeping track of service dates and ensuring that all requirements are met.

• Service Includes: Detailed 28-point inspection and diagnostic check, engine oil and oil filter replacement, and complimentary car wash.
• Recommended Schedule: Every 10,000 km or 6 months, whichever is earlier (must do timely to prevent warranty from getting void)
• Convenience: Free pickup & drop included.
• Completion Time: Same-day delivery for morning pick-up slots
   
• Major Service

Comprehensive care for long-lasting performance
 

• Service Includes: Comprehensive 45-point inspection and diagnostic check (including spark plugs, suspension, drive train, underbody and others) , engine oil and oil filter replacement, complimentary wheel balancing, brake pads and disc cleaning, and car wash.
• Recommended Schedule: Every 20,000 km or 12 months, whichever is earlier  (must do timely to prevent warranty from getting void)
• Convenience: Free pickup & drop included.
• Completion Time: 1 day (Next day delivery)
   

Our Service Contracts combine these services to offer the best maintenance package for your car.

Additional services, including but not limited to A/C and air filter change, car detailing, car window tinting, car tyre replacement, battery replacement, engine flush, transmission check etc can also be availed separately

With Cars24, we ensure quick and efficient service, tailored to the type of service you choose:

• Minor Service: This service is completed on the same day if you opt for a morning pick-up slot. 
• Major Service: This service typically takes one full day, with next-day delivery after pick-up.

Please note that if additional work is required—such as repairs or parts replacement—the timeline may be extended based on the nature of the repair and the availability of parts. We’ll keep you informed every step of the way.

A minor service (every 10,000km or 6 months) usually includes: Oil and oil filter change, basic inspections (e.g., brake condition, fluid levels, tire pressure, battery health, A/C filter, air filter, electricals, steering).
 

A major service typically includes: All minor service items plus spark plug replacement, suspension checks, transmission, drive belts, engine and underbody inspection and full diagnostics.
