Middle-East exclusive 2026 Ford Everest engine specs

The reveal of the 2026 Everest has a little to do with the design and feature updates, but more with its mechanical setup. The biggest update is the new, Middle-East specific 2.7-litre, four-cylinder, turbo petrol Ecoboost V6 petrol engine.

This new V6 petrol powerhouse makes 355 bhp and 500 Nm of peak power and torque, respectively. It gets the 4WD setup that is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Ford claims that the new Everest is more capable than ever, and its new 2.7L Ecoboost engine is on par with rivals like the Toyota Land Cruiser 250.

This engine has been specifically designed and tested in the hardcore weather conditions of the Middle East. It has been curated for the UAE and the other Middle Eastern markets, which demand high-endurance SUVs.

New ‘Tremor’ off-road variant added

The new updated Everest SUV has also brought a new trim called Tremor. This variant has been designed as an off-road trim, which offers special hardware changes for improved off-roading.

The changes on the Tremor variant include the 17-inch off-road J-style wheels and all-terrain tyres, Bilstein suspension setup with adjustable damping, and improved off-road figures, including the approach angle, departure angle, etc.

When will it launch in the UAE?

While the new engine has been unveiled at the Liwa show, Ford has yet to reveal the launch time of the 2026 Everest in the UAE. We suspect that the updated SUV will be launched in the second-half of 2026.
