Top 5 highlights of the 2026 Ford Taurus in the UAE

1. New design

The updated Taurus sedan now features an all-new design. The front fascia and rear are completely changed with the new bumpers, new front grille, and new, sharp LED lights.

Additionally, it features a sleeker overall profile with the use of modern features like the flush-mounted door handles and the new dual-tone alloy wheels. Moreover, customers can now choose from the two new colourways, which include the Hot Pepper Red and Vapur Blue.

2. New hybrid engine

Powering the new Taurus sedan are two engine options. One is the previous 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine that offers 239 bhp and 382 Nm of power and torque. It is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. This engine delivers a claimed fuel economy of 15.5 km/l.

However, the talking point is the new 1.5-litre hybrid petrol engine, which uses a 2 kWh battery that packs 185 bhp (engine) and 64 bhp (electric motor) power. With the combined output of 249 bhp and 220 Nm, this engine can deliver up to 23.4 km/l fuel economy.

3. New interior features

The cabin of the new Taurus has undergone a substantial redesign. The dashboard now features a connected screen display with an 8-inch digital instrument console and a 13.2-inch full-HD infotainment screen.

Moreover, the centre console and door panels have been redesigned with the new leather upholstery and better ergonomics. The new Taurus also features the Ford SYNC4A wireless technology, and gets features like ambient lights, panoramic sunroof, voice-assisted command controls, wireless charging, dual-zone climate control, electric seats with ventilation, a 10-speaker Bose sound system, and more.
