Honda sells its Jazz hatchback in a lot of global markets, including China. In fact, the Jazz is available in China in two avatars, one is through the GAC Honda Fit, and the other is called Dongfeng Honda Life. The latest facelifted model is the GAC Honda Fit.

As revealed in its exterior leaked photos in 2025, the new Jazz has a very EV-like design. It features a substantially redesigned front fascia that gets a new, sleek bumper with split LED headlights. The front design has an all-new bumper and a new grille that offer a closed fascia outlook.

The side profile of the Jazz facelift is largely unaltered. It rides on the 15-inch steel wheels, has new dual-tone rear view mirrors, blacked-out B-pillars, and gets a big glass area for a roomy cabin space. Honda has also introduced new colours: Fiery Yellow, Dynamic Blue, and Starry Night White.

The interior design of the new Jazz is mostly unchanged. It continues offering the two-spoke steering wheel and lots of cubbyholes in the cabin. However, the facelifted model now gets a new 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a new 7-inch digital instrument cluster. It continues to offer the trademark ‘Magic Seats’, which are known for their practical use.

Powering the 2026 Honda Jazz in China is the 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, i-Vtec petrol engine. It is paired with a CVT automatic transmission, and offers 122 bhp and 145 Nm of power and torque.

UAE launch details of the 2026 Honda Jazz facelift

The new Honda Jazz, aka Fit, is unlikely to launch in the UAE. The UAE or GCC-spec Honda Jazz has a different design and offers more features with more safety.

As of now, the new Honda Jazz will be sold in China, New Zealand, and Japan. Ironically, small electric cars like the BYD Seagull are offering class-leading technologies and efficiency, which is why the sales of Jazz are at an all-time low. It has been priced at 66,800 yuan (AED 35,203).

Honda has limited the production of the new Jazz facelift to 3,000 units globally.
