What to expect from the 2026 Hyundai Accent?
The latest spy shots of the upcoming Accent facelift show that the new model will receive a redesigned front and rear styling. While the current model gets a sharp design with a low-slung bonnet and connected lights, the new facelift will offer a redesigned front with the new LED headlights, a new grille, and a new bumper.
Similarly, the side profile is also likely to get the new dual-tone alloy wheels. Meanwhile, the rear styling is likely to be improved with the new connected LED lights and the new bumper.
On the inside, the updated Accent facelift will offer a redesigned dashboard with the new three-spoke steering wheel and the new connected dual-screen display. Additionally, the interior theme will also get updated with the reworked leather upholstery and redesigned utility spaces.
However, we are unsure whether the UAE-spec model will get all these features or not, because the current Accent in the UAE also misses out on the connected dual screens and other crucial features like the auto AC and more.
Engine specifications
As this update will be a mid-life upgrade, the Accent facelift will remain unaltered mechanically. This means that the 1.5-litre MPI petrol engine with 115 bhp and a CVT automatic transmission will continue to be offered in the UAE.
UAE launch time and price
The new Hyundai Accent is expected to arrive in the UAE by late 2026 or early 2027. Since it will not feature any big upgrades, rather than the cosmetic changes, its pricing is likely to be more or less the same as the current model.
