2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee: New design, more features

The new Grand Cherokee has received a fresh flair of design, along with improved cabin convenience features. On the outside, it now features a set of new, sleeker LED headlights, matched with the new seven-slot front grille and a new bumper for a rugged appeal.

The side profile is largely unchanged, but it now gets the new 10-spoke alloy wheels, which have replaced the old, boring alloy wheels. The rear profile has been updated with a set of sleek LED taillights and a revised bumper.

In terms of features, the Grand Cherokee now gets a new Palermo leather upholstery dual-tone theme and a bigger 10.25-inch digital console for the driver. 

Moreover, the infotainment screen has been upgraded to a bigger 12.3-inch screen, along with a 10.25-inch passenger screen and improved UI.

The new Grand Cherokee also features a 19-speaker McIntosh music system, which has been incorporated into the top-spec variants. The new SUV will continue to be offered in three variants in the international market.

The new Grand Cherokee is available in two new colour options: Steel Blue and Copper Shino.

New engine, more efficiency

With the MY26 update, Jeep has added a new 2.0-litre, four-cylinder Hurricane 4 turbo petrol engine. This engine is rated for 324 bhp and 450 Nm of power and torque. It comes mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. 

Jeep claims that it can cover up to 814 km on a single fuel tank. The 4WD drivetrain remains unaltered. In addition to the new engine, it also gets the 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 engine and the plug-in hybrid 4xe engine options.

UAE launch timeline

The new Jeep Grand Cherokee will go on sale in the US market by the end of this year. It is expected to arrive in the UAE by mid-2026. We are expecting its prices to increase with the addition of new features and revised engine options.
