What is new on the 2026 Nissan Pathfinder?

The new Pathfinder SUV has landed in the US car market with subtle design changes. While the first glimpse might show the changes, a close look reveals that it gets a new front fascia.

Gone are the chrome accents and the boring grille of the old model. The new Pathfinder now gets a sleeker grille design with a black outlook, which extends with the new bumper that has a sleeker profile towards the extreme ends.

While the side profile and the rear profile are largely unaltered, Nissan has added new 20-inch alloy wheels to the top-spec Platinum variant. Moreover, all variants now get black roof rails to match the sporty design.

The biggest update, however, is on the inside. It now gets a new cabin theme with the dual-tone leather upholstery and a standard 12.3-inch infotainment screen that has wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. Meanwhile, the top-spec variants also get a new 12.3-inch digital console with improved UI and more features.

Furthermore, Nissan has also added new cooling pads to the wireless charging pads and increased the magnetic phone-holding capabilities. The charging output of the wireless pad is also up to 15W from 5W.

Moreover, the Rock Creed off-road variant now gets the ‘under bonnet camera view’, which helps the driver to easily assess the rocks and other terrain changes to safely drive the car.

Apart from these new features, the updated model also gets a new exterior colour called ‘Baltic Teal’, which is offered with a beautiful combination of black roof and ORVMs.

Powering the new Pathfinder is the same 3.5-litre, V6 petrol engine that makes 284 bhp and 350 Nm. It is paired to a CVT automatic transmission and a standard all-wheel drive system.

When will it launch in the UAE?

The new-gen Pathfinder will be debuting in the US later this month at the LA Auto Show. The brand is expected to start its deliveries early next year. However, it shall make its entry in the UAE car market by mid-2026. The prices of the new Pathfinder in the UAE will be slightly higher than the current model.
