Dubai mosque parking policy explained
As per the latest change in the mosque parking system in Dubai, Parkin has taken over 2,100 parking areas across 59 mosques. This takeover has been done with the association of IACAD.
With that said, the company is providing free parking for one hour to the worshippers during the prayer hours.
However, visitors visiting during the non-prayer hours will have to pay for the parking. This includes the late-night hours as well.
The parking will be distinguished in two zones: M (standard) and MP (premium). Both zones will be charged throughout the day and night, apart from the five prayers: Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha.
Benefits of the free Dubai mosque parking

The primary reason behind freeing the parking charges during prayers is to avoid congestion. Worshippers can park their vehicles quickly, without worrying about the parking fees.
Meanwhile, the same parking structure will be followed on Fridays as well, when the prayer crowd is usually higher than the regular days.
Cost of new Dubai mosque parking
As there will be two zones, i.e. M and MP, the visitors will need to pay a certain amount for the non-prayer timings.
For users parking in the M zones, the charges for the peak and non-peak timings are the same, which are as follows:
Timing | M Zone parking charge |
0.5 hour | AED 2 |
1 hour | AED 4 |
However, for the MP Zone visitors, the charges are different for the peak and non-peak hours. These are as follows:
Timing | MP Peak hours | MP non-peak hours |
0.5 hours | 3 | 2 |
1 hour | 6 | 4 |
