Lamborghini has revealed the all-new Urus SE Performante SUV globally as the fastest Urus ever made. The new Lamborghini Urus SE Performante also happens to be the first high-performance version of the SUV after the discontinuation of the non-PHEV variant in 2024.
What makes the Lamborghini Urus SE Performante special?

Lamborghini Urus has to be one of the most desirable performance SUVs globally. Not only does it get the Lambo tag, but it also justifies its dual purpose of practical everyday supercar-like SUV. However, since the non-PHEV got axed in 2024, Lamborghini lovers have been waiting for a hardcore spec, which has now arrived in the form of the SE Performante.
The first update is the more powerful version of the 4.0-litre V8 turbo engine. It makes 812 bhp and 1,000 Nm of power and torque, which is 12 bhp and 50 Nm more than the standard model. It is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission with an electric motor powered by a 25.9 kWh lithium-ion battery.

Lamborghini claims that it can sprint 0-100 km/h in 3.3 seconds and 0-200 km/h in 10.8 seconds. This makes it 0.1 seconds quicker to 0-100 km/h than the Urus Performante and 0.4 seconds quicker to 0-200 km/h. However, its top speed is limited to 312 km/h, which is similar to the standard model. On the other hand, it offers 60 km of pure electric range.
What are the technical changes?

Lamborghini engineers have retuned the engine management software and recalibrated the transmission to offer more power on the new Urus SE Performante. A new “Rally Mode” has also been added to offer maximum driving engagement on loose surfaces.
The engineers have also added a new dual-chamber AURA suspension system, which halves the body roll and reduces the vibrations by 25 per cent. The braking system has also been upgraded with the new Integrated Power Brake assist, which works in sync with the 6D vehicle dynamic computer to offer 6 per cent faster manoeuvrability and 12 per cent quicker reaction time.
Lastly, it features a full system Akrapovic stainless steel lightweight performance exhaust system for an unforgettable aural experience. With all these changes, it is 32 kg lighter than the previous Urus Performante.
Exterior design updates
While the majority of the Urus SE Performante’s exterior design looks similar to the SE variant, it gets special and purposeful styling changes. It features carbon fibre panels on the hood, roof spoiler, boot wing, side skirts, and rear diffuser.
The bonnet also features the ‘S-Ducts’ to increase the airflow and reduce the aero drag. The redesigned bumper with NACA ducts increases the braking efficiency by 8 per cent by channelling the air towards the brake discs and callipers. The purposeful bodywork has increased the downforce by 23 per cent.
Meanwhile, it rides on the special lightweight 22-inch (front) and 23-inch (rear) rims, which are wrapped in Pirelli P Zero performance tyres.
Interior upgrades

On the inside, the Urus SE Performante is equipped with the ‘Corsa Tex’ Dinamica upholstery that helps reduce weight by 2.7 kg. Customers can also opt for the leather upholstery package as an optional accessory. It also features a new steering wheel with carbon fibre bezel, while the rest of the cabin design and features are similar to the Urus SE.
When will the Lamborghini Urus SE Performante launch?
The new Urus SE Performante is expected to go on sale in the coming months. Lamborghini will certainly launch it in the UAE, as the Middle Eastern market is the company’s top priority.
