What makes the Nissan Patrol Dune concept special?
The all-new Dune Patrol has been specially crafted for the ongoing SEMA Show 2025 in Las Vegas, US. Although it is based on the standard 2025 Nissan Patrol Armada Pro-4X variant, it has been extensively modified to turn it into a dune-bashing machine.
The first visual changes that you will spot are the hefty used NISMO-crafted prototype parts, which include the rock sliders, high-rise off-road bumpers, six-inch aux lights, and a special sand dune-inspired paint shade with black contrasts.
Moreover, it features the special NISMO Axis Off-road beadlock 37-inch wheels, draped with the Yokohama Geolander MT tyres. Nissan has also added the NISMO lift kit with Bilstein springs that offer a 10-inch lift with bypass dampers.
The best part? The complete suspension, including the lower arms and connecting rods, has been fabricated using NISMO prototype parts. Elements like 4340 drive axles, misalignment spacers, and extended brake lines make it an off-road beast.
To enhance its visual appeal even further, Nissan has bolted on the custom fibreglass fenders and custom quarter glass panels that can accommodate accessories like fuel jerry cans and more. It also gets a swing-out spare tyre mount, which comes in handy in case of changing a tyre.
Last but not least, it comes loaded with full-width lightbars at the rooftop facing front and rear.
Engine specs of Nissan Dune Patrol
As it is based on the Patrol Armada Pro-4X variant, the Dune Patrol is already a capable car underneath. Powering it is a 3.5-litre, twin-turbo petrol, V6 engine that offers 425 bhp and 700 Nm of peak power and torque.
It is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission and comes with a 4X4 system that has electronically locking differentials. This engine, paired with the new suspension and tyres is expected to offer amazing dune-bashing capabilities.
When will it launch?
Sadly, the Nissan Patrol Dune is a concept SUV, and it has been crafted only for the SEMA Show 2025. However, considering the high interest of the audience in it, Nissan can introduce this special kit as an optional accessory in the future.
