What to expect from the Honda 0 Alpha SUV?

The new 0 Alpha electric SUV is based on an all-new dedicated EV-only platform. The main philosophy behind its design and architecture is “thin, light, wise”, which means that it features a utility-friendly yet modern design.
The concept car has been designed with a boxy outlook, featuring thin and simple body lines. The main attraction is its rear design that has a box-like shape, which has been deliberately designed for more headroom and cargo area at the rear.

The concept car gets connected LED headlights, a closed black grille, flush door handles, aerodynamic wheels, and a unique rear design with a U-shaped taillight. While Honda has not revealed the interiors, we suspect it will get a flat floor with roomy cabin space and comfortable seats.
The production-spec 0 Alpha SUV will come loaded with modern features, including a full-width dashboard screen display, Lidar safety features, wireless connectivity, AI-assisted voice commands, a panoramic sunroof, and more.
Connection with Honda Elevate
The 0 Alpha SUV will be sharing parts and critical components with the Elevate SUV. While Elevate is offered as a petrol-only model, its architecture was designed to support an electric powertrain as well, which will be used by the 0 Alpha SUV.
Meanwhile, the battery and specifications are yet to be revealed. However, online rumours hint at an FWD drivetrain with a real-world range capacity of over 400 km. It is likely to feature an 800V architecture, thus offering fast charging.
Honda 0 Alpha SUV UAE launch and rivals
Honda has crafted the 0 Alpha for the global markets, including the UAE. It is expected to launch in the Middle East by 2027.
Once launched, it will compete with the Hyundai Kona EV, which is already a popular electric car in the UAE due to its feature-packed cabin and long-range capabilities.
Cars24 UAE says
The Honda 0 Alpha SUV is certainly going to be an enticing electric car. Honda has taken its sweet time to craft it, and the production version is still far, which is expected to be more attractive than the concept. More details will be revealed in the coming months.
