Our conclusion
The Kia Tasman is a feature-packed and more modern pickup truck which shall suit buyers who occasionally do off-roading but require a flat bed and towing capacity along with the modern creature comforts.
On the other hand, the Toyota Hilux is a rock-solid brand name in the pickup truck industry. It features a bigger engine, which is known for its extreme durability and reliability.
On paper, it is the Kia Tasman that wins the overall battle. However, what Toyota Hilux offers is the rugged ability to be used without getting it repaired or rebuilt over decades.
