Top 5 highlights of the new 2027 Honda City facelift
1. Sharp exterior design

The biggest update on the new City facelift is its sharp-looking front design. While the sedan is dimensionally unchanged, it packs a new front fascia with a set of connected Bi-LED headlamps, a sharp piano black grille with a honeycomb pattern, and a new bumper with sporty air dams on both sides.
The side profile is largely unchanged, save for the new 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels and the 360-degree camera unit embedded in the mirrors. At the rear, it now packs a set of clear lens LED taillights and a new sporty bumper.
2. Smart interior updates

On the inside, the new City facelift packs a redesigned dashboard with a new centre console design. The addition of a bigger and smoother 10.1-inch infotainment screen comes with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Other updates include the new ventilated front seats, which can be controlled by the physical buttons present on the centre console along with the AC buttons.
3. More features and safety
Honda has also added new features to the updated City facelift. These include the new ambient lights that lit up the cabin at night to provide a cocooning experience to the passengers.
On the safety front, the addition of the new 360-degree camera is a big relief, especially for users who drive the car in the city and often park in tight spaces. The camera not only offers a wider view of the surroundings, but it also adds to the ADAS safety features.
4. Mechanically unchanged

Since Honda is working on the next-generation City sedan, which is suspected to debut worldwide in 2028, this particular update was more about the design and interior upgrades. Hence, the engine options are unchanged on the City facelift.
Mind you, it comes with a 1.5-litre four-cylinder i-VTEC engine that offers 121 bhp, and it is paired with a 7-step CVT automatic transmission or a 6-speed manual transmission in the global market.
Honda also offers a 1.5-litre self-charging hybrid engine that offers a staggering fuel efficiency of up to 27.26 km/l.
5. UAE launch soon
Although Honda has introduced the new City facelift in India as of now, we believe that the updated sedan could be launched in the UAE later this year.
Honda City is a popular car in the Middle East, and its update is long overdue in the region. Hence, the latest facelift model could be introduced sooner than we think.
Cars24 UAE says
The new 2027 Honda City facelift packs a long list of changes, including cosmetic and comfort upgrades. The new model is mechanically unchanged; it keeps its reliable 1.5L engine ongoing in the global market.
