Jetour is preparing to enter the UAE pickup truck market with the new F700, a premium plug-in hybrid pickup combining high performance, off-road capability and a technology-focused cabin. The model features a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine paired with two electric motors, producing a combined 892hp and 1,135Nm of torque.

The Jetour F700 has already been introduced in China under the Zongheng nameplate. For the UAE, pre-bookings are scheduled to open on October 28, 2026. The pickup will join Jetour's existing SUV lineup and bring a new electrified option to the local market.

Jetour UAE has confirmed that pre-bookings for the F700 will open on October 28, 2026. However, the official UAE price, local variants and customer delivery dates have not yet been announced.

In China, introductory prices for the pickup were reported at approximately AED 166,000 to AED 221,000. These prices do not represent confirmed UAE pricing, which will depend on the specifications and equipment offered locally.

The F700 is expected to compete in the premium pickup segment, combining the utility of a double-cab truck with the performance and cabin technology typically associated with high-end SUVs.

Jetour F700 engine and performance

The Jetour F700 uses a plug-in hybrid powertrain comprising a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine and two electric motors. The system delivers a combined output of 892 hp and 1,135 Nm of torque, with power managed by a two-speed dedicated hybrid transmission (DHT).

An intelligent four-wheel-drive system distributes power across the axles, while the electrified setup helps deliver strong acceleration and traction across different driving conditions. Jetour claims a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of around five seconds and a top speed of 180 km/h.

Jetour F700 battery and driving range

The F700 uses a 34.13 kWh battery supplied by CATL, supporting electric-only driving for shorter journeys while retaining a petrol engine for longer trips. The Chinese-market model has a claimed electric range of up to 150 km and a combined driving range of up to 1,000 km.

The pickup also features an 800V electrical architecture, with a reported DC fast-charging time of approximately 10 minutes from 30% to 80% under suitable conditions.

These figures are based on Chinese-market specifications and testing standards. The final UAE specifications and locally applicable range figures have yet to be confirmed.

Rugged exterior with a practical cargo bed

The Jetour F700 features an upright front grille, squared LED headlights, muscular wheel arches and prominent bumpers. Its boxy proportions and black exterior cladding give it a rugged appearance, while the four-door double-cab layout provides space for passengers alongside a separate cargo bed.

The pickup measures 5,495mm long, 2,050mm wide and 1,985mm tall, with a 3,350mm wheelbase. Its cargo bed has a reported capacity of 1,300 litres, offering room for outdoor equipment, luggage and work-related loads.

The F700 is built on a body-on-frame platform, a construction commonly used for pickups designed to handle demanding terrain and towing duties.

Off-road capability and towing

The Jetour F700 is equipped with an intelligent four-wheel-drive system and front and rear differential locks to help maintain traction on loose or uneven surfaces. Its reported water-wading depth reaches 900mm, while the maximum towing capacity is rated at 3,500kg.

Other off-road figures include a 32-degree approach angle and a 15-degree departure angle in the reported specifications. The official Jetour UAE website lists a 33-degree approach angle and a departure angle of up to 23 degrees, so these figures may vary by specification or measurement.

With its hybrid powertrain, body-on-frame construction and towing capacity, the F700 is positioned as a pickup for buyers who want both everyday usability and off-road ability.

Premium cabin with large digital displays

Jetour F700 interior

Inside, the F700 adopts a technology-led dashboard layout with a 35.4-inch panoramic digital display and a separate 15.6-inch central touchscreen. The system is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8255 processor.

The cabin is designed to offer a more premium experience than a conventional work-focused pickup. Reported features include leather upholstery, power-adjustable front seats, ventilation and massage functions, wireless charging and a panoramic camera system.

The flagship specification also features a 10-speaker JAMO premium audio system and 64-colour ambient lighting. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and voice-control functions are among the connectivity features listed for the model, although the final UAE equipment list has not been confirmed.

Driver assistance and safety features

The F700 is offered with a range of driver-assistance and vehicle-control technologies in its Chinese-market specification. These include the Falcon 500 driver-assistance system, automatic parking and a 540-degree camera system.

Other listed safety and control features include multiple airbags, anti-lock braking, electronic brake-force distribution, traction control, electronic stability control, hill-start assist and hill-descent control.

The availability of individual systems may differ between markets and variants. UAE-specific safety equipment and driver-assistance features are yet to be confirmed.

Jetour F700 rivals in the UAE

The F700 will enter a pickup market that includes established models such as the Toyota Hilux, Ford Ranger Raptor and Nissan Navara. Its electrified powertrain also makes the BYD Shark 6, a plug-in hybrid pickup already available in the UAE, a relevant comparison.

With a claimed 892hp, the F700 offers substantially more combined power than the BYD Shark 6's reported 430hp. However, price, real-world fuel consumption, electric range, off-road performance and after-sales support will all be important considerations once the UAE model specifications are finalised.
