RAM has unveiled its most powerful desert pickup truck, called the 1500 SRT TRX. The RAM 1500 SRT TRX is loaded with a new supercharged V8 engine, which has been designed to “dethrone” the Ford F-150 Raptor. Check its complete details below, including its launch timeline for the UAE market.

RAM 1500 SRT TRX engine specs and performance
With the new 1500 SRT TRX, RAM has gone completely crazy with the power and performance figures. The pickup truck is powered by the new “Hellcat” 6.2-litre supercharged V8 Hemi engine, which makes 777 bhp and 922 Nm.
This mind-boggling power is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox, which is further mated to a BorgWarner transfer case with a crawl ratio of 2.64:1, enabling it to literally crawl over anything, anywhere. It also gets the 4WD system with a Dana 60 rear axle for hardcore off-road use.
Now, speaking of the numbers, this massive four-door truck can sprint 0-100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds, which is 0.1 second quicker than its direct rival, the Ford F-150 Raptor.
The new 1500 SRT TRX rides on 18 J-wheels with 35-inch AT tyres. This setup is supported by the heavy-duty suspension with Blistein active dampers and aluminium components. This setup provides it with 330 mm suspension travel on the front and 355 mm at the rear.
Modern design, interiors, safety, and features
RAM has not only beefed up the 1500 SRT TRX with a massive punch, but it has also upgraded the cabin and design, making it more luxurious than ever before.
On the outside, it features a revised grille with a big air intake for the supercharged engine. It also gets the dual-tone paint schemes for the US market, including the revised bumpers and the new ‘SRT’ and ‘TRX’ badging on the tailgate.
On the inside, it features a modern cabin design with leather upholstery. This theme is accentuated by the red stitching and the carbon fibre elements.
Moreover, it gets the latest features like a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a vertical 14.5-inch infotainment screen, wireless charging, a head-up display, a 19-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, front seats with ventilation, heating, and massaging, rear seats with recline and ventilation with heating, and more.
The safety features are also top-notch, as the pickup comes with the Level 2 ADAS suite, including the adaptive cruise control, lane monitoring and lane keep assist, blind spot monitoring, 360-degree camera, rear cross-traffic alert, front collision alert, avoidance assist, and more.
RAM 1500 SRT TRX price and availability
RAM has announced that the new 1500 SRT TRX will be available in the US market by mid-2026. However, the brand is considering launching it in the other markets, including the UAE, in the future.
RAM has positioned the 1500 SRT TRX at 99,995 USD or approximately AED 367,231 (as of today’s exchange rate).

Considering the engine specs and performance, the RAM 1500 SRT TRX is more powerful and quicker than the Ford F-150 Raptor. The Raptor comes with a smaller 5.2-litre engine, while the RAM offers a massive 6.2-litre supercharged Hemi V8, offering more performance.
