The Motor Show Sharjah 2026 has kicked off its multi-location tour, with the opening event held at Al Qasba on October 3. Organised by the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) in partnership with UAE Cars Club, the event brought together more than 100 vehicles from across the GCC.
The opening ran from 4PM to 9PM and was free for visitors. Unlike a conventional new-car exhibition, the event focused on automotive enthusiasts, with everything from modified builds and performance cars to classics and off-road vehicles on display.
What was on display at the Motor Show Sharjah?
The Al Qasba opening showcased a wide mix of vehicles covering several areas of car culture. Visitors could see:
- Performance cars
- Modified and tuned cars
- Muscle cars
- Japanese sports and tuner cars
- Classic cars
- 4x4 and off-road vehicles
The selection included vehicles brought in by participants from across the GCC, giving the event a broader regional focus. Modified cars and tuned builds were particularly prominent, while classic models and Japanese performance cars added variety to the display.
More than just a car exhibition
The Motor Show Sharjah was designed as a community event rather than simply a static vehicle display. Alongside the cars, visitors could enjoy live music, mascots, children's entertainment and food and beverage options.
The waterfront location at Al Qasba also gave the event a more relaxed setting for families and casual visitors. Photography opportunities and evening entertainment were included as part of the experience.
Where will the Motor Show Sharjah go next?
The Al Qasba event was the first stop on a four-location tour across Sharjah. The remaining schedule includes:
| Date | Location | Timing |
| October 3, 2026 | Al Qasba | 4PM - 9PM |
| November 14, 2026 | Al Heera Beach | 4PM - 9PM |
| December 12, 2026 | Al Majaz Waterfront | 4PM - 9PM |
| January 16, 2026 | Khorfakkan Beach | 4PM - 9PM |
Entry is free at each location. The tour is intended to bring UAE car enthusiasts, modified-car communities and the wider public together at some of Sharjah's popular waterfront destinations.
What makes the Motor Show Sharjah different?
The event takes a community-focused approach to the traditional motor show format. Instead of concentrating primarily on manufacturer launches and new cars, it puts enthusiast-owned, modified, classic, performance and off-road vehicles at the centre.
With more than 100 vehicles at the opening event, The Motor Show Sharjah also provides a platform for different car communities to come together. Its four-stop format allows the show to reach enthusiasts across the emirate while combining automotive displays with family-oriented entertainment.
