The combined power output of this setup is 160 bhp and 172 Nm. It is paired with a unique 8-speed fixed-ratio automatic transmission, which controls the engine and electric motors together. Renault claims that the hybrid Duster can drive up to 80% time on EV mode in the city, thus saving fuel.

5. No all-wheel or 4x4 option

The India-spec new-gen Duster is a front-wheel drive SUV. There is no 4WD or AWD option available on any of the powertrain options. This comes as a bummer because the Duster is known for its off-road capabilities globally and gets the 4WD in Europe.
