2027 Mercedes AMG GT Coupe: Everything we know so far
The latest spy shots of the upcoming Mercedes AMG GT Coupe test car have surfaced online. The test car has been spotted in Europe doing a snow test run.
The interesting bit is the new front fascia that looks more oval now. Additionally, the front now features a heavily redesigned bumper with a new grille. Even the LED headlights look new, but we can not be sure about the lights, as it is a work in progress.
The lower intake on the front bumper is also similar to the SL variant, which we suspect is going to offer better performance by increasing the aerodynamic capabilities. While the test car does not have additional changes, we suspect that the production model will land with new alloys and a new rear bumper when it launches next year.
Meanwhile, the interiors are also expected to undergo a slight revision. Whilst the design is likely to remain largely unchanged, the infotainment screen will possibly feature the new MB.OS operating system.
The test car had four exhaust tips, hinting that it is the entry-level GT 43 variant. The GT 43 is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo engine that offers 416 bhp and 500 Nm. However, Mercedes is likely to give it a performance boost, especially to the V8 and PHEV variants.
The online reports also hint at a Black Series version, which will offer a blacked-out cosmetic appeal with special interior treatment.
When will it launch?
As per the online reports, Mercedes is planning to launch the updated AMG GT sports car next year in the prominent markets, including the UAE. The new AMG GT will also witness a price hike with the new feature add-ons.
