The ongoing 2026 Monterey Car Week is witnessing some of the most unique “one-off” models from various manufacturers, which resonate with the 1950s race cars celebratory theme of this year’s car week. One such exotic carmaker to join the queue of the “special” models is Aston Martin. The brand has introduced its three “one-off” models based on the DB12 S sports car at the 2026 Monterey Car Week, which takes inspiration from Le Mans race cars.

Curated by Aston Martin’s custom division, called ‘Q’, the new unique spin-off models have been carefully crafted with the theme of Monterey 2026. The personalisation department has selected the 1951 24 Hours of Le Mans race car to take the design inspiration.

These three “one-off” models are named VMF 63, VMF 64, and VMF 65, with each model resembling new custom colours and a different appeal. All models feature a gloss ‘Carbon Black’ paint shade, along with a contrasting hue on the grille vanes and the side fenders, carbon fibre elements, contrasting stitching on the interior, and ‘75’ badges signifying the limited special edition.

As per the brand, the DB12 S VMF models pay tribute to the racing roots of the Pebble Beach Concours D’Elegance. The latter will be celebrating its 75th anniversary next year.

Speaking of the details, the VMF 63 features the Carbon Black colour with Rosso Red highlights, while the VMG 64 gets the Speed Yellow colour highlights, and the VMF 65 features the Ellwood Blue highlights. Additionally, all models feature a contrasting carbon fibre ‘Aeroblade’ at the rear, and a silhouette graphic of the DB12.

The cabin design of the special-edition “one-off” models is similar to the standard model. However, the distinguishing features include the contrasting colours on the leather upholstery, DB12 silhouette stitched at the front seat-backs, ‘75’ stitching on the rear seats, ‘75’ plaques on the door sills, and a contrasting colour rotary start/stop knob dial and paddle shifters.

The brand has not revealed any mechanical details, but we can safely say that these “one-off” models feature the standard powertrain: a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that makes 700 bhp and 800 Nm, paired to an 8-speed automatic gearbox, offering 325 km/h of top speed.

The three bespoke models of the DB12 S are likely to be auctioned in the near future. It is likely that one of these could land in the UAE, since premium Aston Martin buyers are largely found in the region. Currently, there are no details available regarding when Aston Martin will sell these models, or whether it will sell them at all!
