The new Jaecoo J5 is now available in the UAE in three variants. These are priced as follows:

• Urban - AED 64,900
• Luxury - AED 73,900
• Elite - AED 79,900

Mind you, these prices are without 5 per cent VAT. The on-road price will be higher than the showroom price.

Speaking of the difference between the variants, the Urban variant gets basic loadings like a 4-speaker sound system, 4 airbags, rear camera, silver alloy wheels, etc. Meanwhile, the mid-spec Luxury variant adds wireless charging, 6 airbags, and a 6-speaker Sony sound system. The J5 is positioned as a mid-size SUV. It is strictly a five-seater SUV, and it features an elegant design that is inspired by the Range Rover models. Its three-box conventional design philosophy is highlighted by the smooth body panels, sharp LED lights, alloy wheels ranging from 17 inches to 18 inches, a big vertical grille with chrome highlights, and a roof-integrated spoiler for a sporty touch.
