Toyota has launched the ninth-generation Hilux in the UAE with a starting price of AED 107,900. The 2027 Toyota Hilux is now available in six variants, two engine options, and two gearbox options in the UAE. Know everything before buying the new Hilux below.
2027 Toyota Hilux: UAE price and availability
The new-generation Hilux is now available in the UAE via Al-Futtaim Motors, the official distributor of Toyota in the Middle East. The new Hilux is being offered in six variants, with their showroom prices listed as follows:

What has changed on the 2027 Toyota Hilux?
Same platform, new exterior design
The new-generation Hilux is based on the IMV platform, which was also used by the previous generation model. However, Toyota has not altered this architecture much; it has redesigned the exterior styling to make the new Hilux similar to the other new-generation models like the RAV4 Hybrid.
The front fascia features a new bonnet with an upright stance, a new grille that has been embedded in the front bumper, new LED projector headlights with sleek daytime running lights, an all-new front bumper with vertical foglight housings, and a new scuff plate and underbody protection.
The side profile looks identical to the outgoing model, save for the new 18-inch alloy wheels and the all-terrain tyres. Toyota has slightly redesigned the rear flatbed support bars and introduced the new colourways.
The rear profile now features the new vertical LED taillights and a new tailgate with Toyota lettering bolted on it. The rear bumper is also new, with a new footstep for loading luggage. Meanwhile, the Overland variant adds chunky body cladding, wider tyres, and more off-road-specific details.
Modern interior with smart features
The biggest upgrade after the exterior is the new interior design and features. The cabin of the new-generation Hilux now features an all-new dashboard with a big 12.3-inch floating central infotainment screen that offers wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a new 12.3-inch digital driver cockpit, new HVAC controls, redesigned seats, a new centre console with an electronic parking brake button, a terrain mode selector rotary dial, drive modes, etc.
The new three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel has been carried forward from the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 250. The new-generation Hilux also features a wireless charging pad, a 360-degree panoramic view monitor, and improved cabin insulation for more driving comfort.
Improved safety features
Another important upgrade on the 2027 Toyota Hilux in the UAE is the addition of autonomous driver safety assist systems. These include the following:

Toyota is offering a naturally aspirated petrol and a turbocharged diesel engine option on the ninth-generation Hilux in the UAE. However, the previous model also offered an optional 4.0-litre V6 petrol engine, which made a lot of power and performance for dune bashing.
We believe that the turbo diesel engine of the new Hilux is more suitable for rugged driving and dune-bashing, while the petrol engine is tuned for driving comfort and urban utility.
Is the 2027 Toyota Hilux worth it for the UAE?
The new-generation 2027 Hilux offers a substantial upgrade in terms of exterior design, styling, and interior comfort. It also packs modern autonomous safety assist features, which make it much safer than the previous version. Meanwhile, it is mechanically refined for better performance and efficiency. However, it misses out on the 4.0L V6 engine, which powers the bigger Land Cruiser models in the UAE. The 4X4 drivetrain and the turbo diesel engine of the 2027 Hilux is perfect for the UAE.
