What to expect from the 2027 Kia Telluride?

The current Telluride has been in the global market for a long time, and it is overdue for an update. Worry not, Kia has teased the next-generation model, and it is set to debut in the USA on November 20, 2025.

A close look at the teaser images reveal that it will get a complete makeover inside-out. The front design teased, has new vertical LED DRLs and a new chiselled bonnet.

We assume that it will get a new fascia inspired by the Kia Tasman, but with a longer and more prominent profile. Additionally, the teaser image shows the rooftop of the car loaded with twin sunroofs.

The new Telluride, as per our assumption, will feature new LED lights, redesign bodywork, new wheels, and an overall premium road presence. 

Similarly, the interiors are likely to feature new panels, a new dashboard with the trinity curved display, new seats, and a host of new features.

What features will the new Kia Telluride have?

The Kia Telluride is equivalent to the Hyundai Palisade. In fact, both are sibling cars. Hence, a lot of new features and technology innovations are likely to be carried forward from the new-gen Palisade.

Engine specs of the 2027 Kia Telluride

Kia is likely going to keep the new-generation Telluride unchanged mechanically. It will continue using the 3.8-litre V6 TGDi engine, offering 291 bhp and 358 Nm, while paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

However, Kia might add a new 2.5-litre strong hybrid engine taken from the Palisade. If so, it will offer 329 bhp and 420 Nm, while paired with an eCVT transmission and dual electric motors.

When will the new Kia Telluride launch in the UAE?

The new-generation Kia Telluride will debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show 2025 on November 20. However, it will be offered in the US first, with deliveries starting by mid-2026.

We are expecting Kia to launch the new Telluride in the UAE by 2026-end. It will be priced from AED 165,000 (estimated).
