Range Rover SV Black: What is special?

As the name suggests, the SV Black offers a completely blacked-out exterior and interior styling on the new SUV.

As far as the exterior is concerned, it gets the special Navrik Black paint theme, 23-inch black alloy wheels, black grille, blacked-out lettering and tailgate ornaments, and black brake calipers.

It also gets the oval Range Rover logo blacked out, instead of the regular green backlit colour.

On the inside, the cabin theme has been revamped with Near-Aniline Ebony Black leather treatment. The seats get a special rectangular stitching pattern on the upper half. 

The wooden veneer has been painted in black finish with the Black Brich highlights. The gearshift lever is also draped in Moonlight Chrome black finish, along with the other interior highlights.

The SV Black is also the first car in the world to offer Sensory Floor, which uses the Meridian sound system of the car along with the Body-and-soul-seat (BASS) to provide haptic vibrations to passengers for comfort and relaxation.

Offering 6 various wellness modes, this system uses transducers fitted under the floor to induce the healing and relaxing vibrations.

Customers can opt between the 5-seater and 4-seater layouts as well.

Range Rover SV Black: Engine specifications

Powering the new SV Black is the tried and tested 4.4-litre, twin-turbo, V8 petrol engine, which produces 606 bhp of peak power. It is mated to the 10-speed automatic transmission.

To enhance the performance and driving feel, it is equipped with the world’s first Pirelli P Zero tyres 70% made from sustainable materials.

Being one of the top markets for the company, UAE is expected to witness the launch of the SV Black by the end of this year.
