What is the Range Rover SV Ultra?

The new Range Rover SV Ultra is the latest top-of-the-line variant in the company’s lineup. It is based on the SV model, but it comes with certain purposeful changes that make it more plush and premium for customers.

Starting with the exterior, it gets a Titan Silver paint shade, which is exclusive to the Ultra. Additionally, it gets the 23-inch dual-tone Silver Platinum alloy wheels. The body trim is wrapped in chrome highlights, whilst the upper half of the SUV boasts a gloss black colour.

Step inside, and a rich cabin experience awaits you. While the cabin layout is similar to the SV, the SV Ultra packs an Orchid White and Cinder Grey interior theme. Moreover, the gear lever and the centre console are finished in a gloss-white ceramic paint.

The dashboard and the door panels use a new rattan wood veneer finish, which further accentuates the cabin experience. Meanwhile, the biggest update has been made to the audio experience.

The SV Ultra packs a new electrostatic sound system that works in sync with the new 21 thin-layer speakers. These speakers have been embedded in positions like the headrests, seatbacks, headliner, etc. 

These speakers work with the Body and Soul Seats (BASS) and Sensory Floor to provide a haptic feedback of the music. The latter also gets six wellness modes with nature sounds and a massage combination for the rear passengers.

The floor is equipped with transducers that convert the audio into haptic sound feedback. This experience stands out from the SV Ultra among other luxury SUVs in the segment.

Other key features of the SV Ultra include the 13.4-inch digital driver console, a 13.1-inch infotainment screen, SV Ultra illuminated door sills, rear captain seats with memory function, seat massage, extended leg support, and wellness modes, electrically-operated rear sunblinds, wireless charging with cooling, four-zone climate control, and mood lighting.

What powers the Range Rover SV Ultra?

The new Range Rover SV Ultra is powered by the tried and tested 4.4-litre V8 twin-turbo petrol engine. It makes 537 bhp and 750 Nm, while being paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The SV Ultra can sprint 0-100 km/h in 4.9 seconds, and has a top speed of 261 km/h.

When will it launch?

The new Range Rover SV Ultra is expected to launch in the coming months. It will be available in the UAE in the second half of this year. It will be priced above the Range Rover SV, which commands a premium of AED 1 million in the Middle East.
