The upcoming Lexus LFR test car has been spotted once again internationally. Rumoured to be the successor of the LFA sports car, its interior details have been uncovered for the first time. Read all the details below.

Lexus LFR: Interior and features
Spied for the first time, the cabin of the LFR prototype looks interesting at first glance. The ramp-like dashboard sits lower and gives the cabin a proper racecar-like feel.
Although most of the details are covered by camouflage, there are still a few interesting details that can be seen in the photos. The first is the massive infotainment screen that seems to be using an updated version of the Lexus Interface operating system.
Underneath the infotainment screen are the new physical buttons for the HVAC controls. These look inspired by the fighter jet toggle buttons, and get a high-grade aluminium-like surrounding.
Meanwhile, the centre console area is loaded with the unique gearshift lever, which is also finished in a similar aluminium-like shade. The centre console has red accents, which match the Recaro race seats and the Alcantara upholstery on the steering wheel, dashboard, and door panels.
The steering wheel has a new three-spoke design, and it gets paddle shifters, along with the conventional stalks for the basic functions. The speedometer, although invisible, is likely to be a big digital screen with a modern display and an AI-assisted view.
Lexus LFR: Exterior design
This is not the first time that the LFR prototype has been spotted testing. The completely camouflaged test cars have been hovering around Europe and the US for long periods of time.
However, the reports hint at three different body styles, which, as per us, are likely to be a standard version, a GT, and a track-specific version.
The overall low-slung and wide body kit of the LFR hints at a very aggressive design, which shall take forward the legacy of the Japanese carmaker.
Lexus LFR: Engine specs
As per the online rumours, the LFR will be powered by an all-new 4.4-litre, V8, turbo, hybrid engine. It will come with an AWD system, and the peak power output could be in the range of 900 bhp or more.
Lexus LFR: UAE launch details
Lexus has kept mum regarding the debut timeline of the LFR globally. However, earlier reports have been suggesting that it will be revealed in late 2025 or early 2026 in Europe and the US first. Later in 2026, we can expect its debut in the UAE as well.
