Everything to know about the Porsche Cayenne Coupe Electric
Design, platform, dimensions

The all-new Cayenne Coupe Electric is based on VW’s PPE or Premium Platform Electric architecture. It is an 800V architecture, and the same is also shared with the standard Cayenne Electric.
The dimensions of the Cayenne Coupe EV are more or less the same as the standard Cayenne EV, save for the 24 mm shorter height due to the coupe roofline. The coupe roofline has been inspired by the Porsche 911 sports car, as it produces 0.23Cd drag.

Design-wise, it looks familiar to the Cayenne Electric front. It gets the LED headlights with the quad DRLs, a sculpted front bumper, active air dams and an active rear spoiler that are included in the Active Aero Package.
Customers can also opt for the Lightweight Sport package, which adds 22-inch aerodynamic lightweight wheels, a carbon roof, and carbon mirrors. The only big change is the sloping roofline, like a sports car and the new rear haunches with the wraparound LED taillights and an upright boot.
Porsche will offer the Cayenne Coupe Electric in three variants globally: Standard, S, and Turbo.
Battery specs, performance and range

Powering the new coupe EV is the 113 kWh NMC battery pack. It comes with the standard dual-electric motors, which offer up to 1,156 bhp of peak power and 1,500 Nm torque on the Turbo variant.
The Standard variant produces 442 bhp and 834 Nm, while the S variant produces 666 bhp and 1,079 Nm. The Turbo version offers the highest power, and it can sprint 0-100 km/h in 2.5 seconds while offering a top speed of 260 km/h.
The WLTP-claimed range of the Turbo variant is 669 km. Porsche is yet to reveal the range of the other two variants.
It supports DC charging up to 390 kW, while an 11 kW AC wall charger is offered as standard.
Interior and features

On the inside, the Cayenne Coupe features a similar design to the standard Cayenne electric SUV. It is offered in two dual-tone leather upholstery options and 4- or 5-seater options.
The key features include the triple screen layout on the dashboard (14.5-inch infotainment, 14.25-inch driver console, 14.9-inch passenger screen), an augmented reality HUD, an analogue clock, wireless charging, a glass roof, an electric tailgate, four-zone climate control, and more.
In terms of boot space, it offers 534 litres of cargo area and an additional 90 litres of front trunk space. It also gets the Level 2 ADAS safety suite and electric seats with heated and ventilated options.
The Lightweight Sport package adds a suede headliner and carbon trims on the inside with an all-black leather interior.
When will it launch?
The Porsche Cayenne Coupe Electric will soon be available in the US and the UK markets by the third quarter of this year. Its UAE launch timeline is yet to be announced.
Cars24 UAE says
