Ferrari has brought its first production electric car, the Ferrari Luce, to Dubai for a private preview aimed at regional clients. Held on October 15, 2026, the event introduced the all-electric model to prospective buyers in the Middle East. The Luce marks a significant shift for the Italian automaker, combining high-performance electric power with the practicality of a five-seat grand tourer.

Ferrari Luce EV: What makes it special?

The Ferrari Luce represents a new direction for the brand, moving away from its traditional combustion-engine lineup towards an all-electric performance offering. Unlike Ferrari's existing sports cars, the Luce combines four-door practicality with a fully electric powertrain.

The cabin has been developed in collaboration with LoveFrom, the design firm founded by Sir Jony Ive. It features a minimalist design with a combination of glass, aluminium, and premium leather. The bucket seats use a glass-and-aluminium structure, while physical aluminium toggle switches mounted on the roof panel control functions such as drive modes and launch settings.

The Luce also introduces a five-seat layout to a production Ferrari, with a three-across rear bench. Its rear luggage compartment offers around 600 litres of cargo capacity, making it more practical for everyday use.

Ferrari Luce EV power and performance

The Ferrari Luce uses a quad-motor electric all-wheel-drive system that produces 1,035 hp and 990 Nm of torque. According to the reported specifications, the electric grand tourer can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 310 km/h.

Power comes from a 122 kWh battery pack, with Ferrari claiming a WLTP driving range of more than 530 km. The car supports DC fast charging at up to 350 kW.

Another notable feature is the Torque Shift Engagement system. The right paddle allows drivers to adjust torque delivery across five levels, while the left paddle controls regenerative braking. The system aims to give drivers greater control over the car's electric power delivery and deceleration.

Despite its electric powertrain, the Ferrari Luce is designed to retain the driving characteristics expected from the brand. It gets four-wheel steering and a third-generation active suspension system to improve agility, stability, and body control.

The instrument cluster combines physical needles with layered OLED displays, blending traditional automotive controls with modern digital technology. The cabin also features a standard 21-speaker, 3,000-watt audio system.

Together, these features position the Luce as a performance-focused electric grand tourer that places equal emphasis on driving engagement, comfort, and everyday usability.

Ferrari Luce EV price and availability in the UAE

The Ferrari Luce has been reported to start at around €550,000 in Europe, equivalent to approximately AED 2.35 million. However, Ferrari's UAE distributor has yet to announce official local pricing.

The private Dubai preview offered regional clients an early look at Ferrari's first production electric car. Its arrival also places the model in the same high-performance luxury EV segment as the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT and Lucid Air Sapphire.

With over 1,000 hp, a claimed range exceeding 530 km, and a practical five-seat cabin, the Ferrari Luce brings a new proposition to the UAE's luxury electric car market. More details about local pricing and availability are expected to clarify when buyers in the Emirates can get behind the wheel.
