Chinese carmaker JAC has launched its affordable nine-seater van in the UAE, called M4. The new 2026 JAC M4 van is available in cargo and passenger versions, and its price starts from AED 44,000.

2026 JAC M4: Price and availability

The new JAC M4 van is now available in the UAE via the official retailer Al Habtoor Motors. The M4 is sold in two versions: Cargo and Passenger. The prices of these variants are as follows:

• JAC M4 Cargo (2-seater): AED 44,000
• JAC M4 Passenger (8- and 9-seater): AED 44,000 to AED 65,900

2026 JAC M4: Exterior design

The JAC M4 is an affordable van that focuses on easy commuting for large staff and families. It boasts a conventional van design with a boxy overall silhouette.

At the front, it gets a hexagonal chrome-plated grille, projector headlights with L-shaped daytime running lights, foglights, and a streamlined bumper. The side profile gets a sliding door that offers easy ingress and egress for the rear passengers, while the driver and the front passenger get conventional doors.

The rear of the M4 gets vertical taillights and a split-type tailgate to easily accommodate luggage and split the rear seats for more boot space. In terms of dimensions, the M4 van measures 5,200 mm in length, 1,890 mm in width, and 1,980 mm in height. It gets a wheelbase of 3,080 mm, offering huge interior space for the rear passengers.

The M4 rides on 16-inch alloy wheels that are wrapped in 215/65 or 215/75 tyres, depending on the variant. JAC is offering the M4 van in three exterior colours: White, Black, and Silver.

2026 JAC M4: Interior design and features

Since the M4 focuses on the interior space, it comes with a huge cabin that offers different seating layouts in its passenger variant. Customers can choose from 8- and 9-seater variants of the M4 in the passenger version, while the cargo version gets a 2-seater configuration.

The overall interior design is spacious and conventional. It gets a high-set dashboard and a commanding driving position. The dashboard gets an 8-inch infotainment screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, while the three-spoke steering wheel gets audio and cruise controls.

The passenger variant of the M4 gets captain seats and a boot space of 720 litres, which can be expanded up to 1,220 litres by folding the rear seats. It also gets comfort features like climate control, voice-assisted controls, heated rear-view mirrors, an auto-dimming interior rear-view mirror, etc.

Safety features

In terms of safety, the JAC M4 is packed with a 68 per cent high-strength steel chassis that has been designed to offer maximum safety during a crash. It also gets features like a tyre pressure monitoring system, ISOFIX child seat points, six airbags, ABS and EBD, and Level 1 ADSA features like auto emergency braking, reverse parking camera and sensors, etc.

Engine specs and performance

Powering the JAC M4 is a 2.0-litre four-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine. This unit makes 145 bhp and 185 Nm of power and torque, respectively. It is paired to a rear-wheel drive configuration and a 5-speed manual transmission.

In terms of performance, the JAC M4 can reach a top speed of 160 km/h and gets an 80-litre fuel tank that can offer a maximum range of up to 960 km.
