Mercedes-Benz has finally launched the new 2026 CLA sedan in the UAE. The updated model features a complete design overhaul, new features, and enhanced performance. It is now available in the UAE from a starting price of AED 255,900.

2026 Mercedes-Benz CLA: Price, variants, availability

The new CLA sedan is now available in the UAE in two variants: CLA 200 and CLA 220 4MATIC. Both variants are now available via the official Mercedes-Benz retailers, which include Gargash Enterprises and Emirates Motor Company.

Customers can choose from various trims: Progressive, AMG Line, AMG Line Plus, and Night Package. The prices of the new CLA are as follows:

• CLA 200: AED 255,900
• CLA 220 4MATIC: AED 274,900

2026 Mercedes-Benz CLA: Engine specs

Powering the new CLA sedan in the UAE is a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine paired to a mild-hybrid electric motor that provides assist in low-speed performance and fuel efficiency. It is offered in two states of tune depending on the variant.

CLA 200: 163 bhp and 250 Nm, 49 bhp electric motor, 0-100 km/h in 8 seconds, 230 km/h top speed, front-wheel drive, 8-speed AT gearbox
 

CLA 220 4MATIC: 190 bhp and 300 Nm, 29 bhp electric motor, 0-100 km/h in 7.1 seconds, all-wheel drive, 235 km/h top speed, 8-speed AT gearbox

Exterior details

The 2026 CLA sedan has undergone a complete exterior makeover. It features a sloping bonnet that merges into the new bumper with a new front grille that has star-shaped chrome highlights. Additionally, the new headlights come with Mercedes-Benz Multibeam LED lights, which offer adaptive performance.

The side profile of the new CLA carries over the coupe-like roofline with the new 19-inch alloy wheels. There are various alloy wheels and sizes, which depend on the variant chosen.

The rear design features a ducktail spoiler integrated with the boot, a new connected LED taillight with oval-shaped lamps, and a curvy rear bumper. The AMG variants get sport bumpers, and the AMG45 variant gets quad-exhaust tips.

Interior design and features

The cabin design of the new-generation CLA features a vertical dashboard with the optional Mercedes Superscreen (triple-screen) setup. A new three-spoke steering wheel is accentuated by the physical control buttons for multimedia and ADAS safety features, while the paddle shifters offer more manual control.

The interior also gets multiple themes with leather upholstery, which depends on the variant you choose. The AMG variants come with Alcantara leather treatment and an AMG-spec steering wheel, seats, floor mats, and sporty pedals.
