Xiaomi has taken the cover off its new extended range electric vehicle, or EREV, lineup of SUVs, called SkyNomad. SkyNomad will house an entire range of EREV models, the first one of which is the new N90. The new Xiaomi SkyNomad N90 EREV has been unveiled, and it is expected to hit the UAE shores next year.
What is the Xiaomi SkyNomad N90 EREV?
Xiaomi’s new brand SkyNomad focuses on comfort and flagship-level technology offerings. The new N90 is a prime example of what the world should look forward to from the new car brand.
Exterior styling

Leaked through the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) patents, the N90 is a significant draw compared to other Xiaomi cars like the YU7 and SU7. Measuring 5,285 mm in length, 1,998 mm in width, and 1,825 mm in height, the N90 is a full-fledged three-row SUV that can be compared with the likes of the Range Rover Autobiography.
It gets a massive 3,080 mm of wheelbase and 2.8 tonnes of kerb weight, which ensures that nobody on the road misses this one out. The exterior styling of the N90 is subtle and modern at the same time.

The front fascia features a blanked-off grille with ‘SkyNomad’ lettering that connects the adaptive LED headlights with sleek daytime running lights. The front bumper features a streamlined design with airflow dams, while the rooftop features the LiDAR sensors.
The side profile is where buyers will get sold. The massive profile of the SUV is dominant from the side, as it gets massive 21-inch diamond-cut alloys, flush door handles, and a big greenhouse.

Moving to the back, the N90 gets a big windshield with a roof-integrated spoiler, and a massive U-shaped connected LED taillight with SkyNomad lettering in the middle. The most interesting design highlight is the long rear overhang, which indicates the big and spacious cabin.
Interior and features

While the official images and details are yet to be released, the cabin photos leaked on the MIIT website show the luxurious and spacious interior layout of the SkyNomad N90. The photos show a tan-coloured leather-wrapped interior with a seven-seater configuration.
We are sure that customers will also get a six-seater configuration as an option. The most interesting detail is the front swivelling seats that can rotate 180 degrees. The N90 can also fit a coffee table between the front and second-row seats.

We expect the N90 to get loaded with hi-tech features like a full-width augmented reality head-up display, LiDAR safety suite, roof-mounted rear entertainment screen, AI-assisted voice controls, touch-control panels for climate control and rear seat comfort features, massaging seats with extended thigh support, and more.
Xiaomi SkyNomad N90 EREV: Engine specs
The SkyNomad N90 is based on Xiaomi’s new Kunlun Architecture. Since it is a range-extender EV, it uses a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine to recharge its batteries. The N90 drive completely on electric power that is sent via a dual-electric motor setup.
It gets a 76.6 kWh NMC battery pack that powers the electric motors on the front and rear axles. The SkyNomad N90 develops 421 bhp, and it can deliver a pure electric range of up to 370 km (claimed), along with a top speed of up to 190 km/h. It offers a claimed mileage of 15.9 km/l, which equates to a total range of 1,500 km.
When will it launch?
The Xiaomi SkyNomad N90 has been revealed in China. It is suspected that Xiaomi will introduce its latest flagship EREV in the Middle East by next year.
