What is new on the 2026 Nissan Navara?

The new Navara is not completely new, but it certainly has grown in terms of design and being modern. On the outside, it now features a new front fascia with new LED headlights, a wider grille, a bigger skid plate, and a new bumper.
Meanwhile, its side outlook is largely unchanged and is inspired by the Mitsubishi Triton pickup truck. However, the Pro-4X off-road variant gets the wider wheel arches and new, black alloy wheels.

The rear shape is also largely unaltered, but the new LED taillights are identical to Nissan’s latest global product design philosophy. Moreover, Nissan is offering a plethora of accessories, including a bull bar, a canopy, a snorkel, and more.
Improved cabin features

It is the cabin that has been upgraded with hefty changes. The new Navara now gets a revamped dashboard with a big 9-inch floating-type infotainment screen that supports wireless connectivity, including Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support.

Meanwhile, the Pro-4X variant is loaded with all-black leather upholstery that comes finished with red stitching accents. Nissan has also improved the legroom for the rear passengers for a comfortable experience.

Engine specs and hardware updates

As the core design of the new Navara is largely unchanged, it does get the updated suspension for improved ride and handling, especially the high-speed performance has seen a significant improvement.
However, Nissan has not changed its durable powertrain. It gets the same 2.4-litre turbo diesel engine as before. This mill develops 201 bhp and 470 Nm, and comes paired with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed automatic gearbox.
While the base variant gets the ‘Easy AWD’, which automatically operates as per the road conditions and gets a rear differential lock, it is the Pro-4X model and the mid-spec variants that get the Super 4WD with lockable centre differential and driving modes.
UAE launch details and rivals
As of now, the new Nissan Navara will be exclusively sold in the Australian and the Thailand markets. However, Nissan plans to introduce in the other critical markets as well, including the UAE.
We are expecting the new Navara pickup truck could possibly debut in the Middle East next year. Once launched, it will rival the Toyota Hilux and the Ford Ranger. In fact, the new Toyota Hilux is also expected to launch next year in the UAE, which means that the pickup market will become interesting for buyers in 2026.
Cars24 UAE says
The new Nissan Navara pickup truck has received its mid-life update. The new visual and cabin changes have made it more comfortable and upmarket. However, it retains its ladder-frame chassis and the durable diesel engine performance.
