2026 Nissan Patrol Nismo: Engine specs and performance

Powering the new Patrol Nismo is the 3.5-litre, twin-turbo, V6 petrol engine, which also features on the standard top-spec variants of the Patrol. However, the company has given it a spur of change with ECU re-tuning to increase the power.

While the USA-spec car will get 460 bhp of peak power, the Middle East-spec and GCC-spec car will get 495 bhp of peak power and 700 Nm of peak torque.

The new powerful engine of the Patrol Nismo is mated to a 9-speed automatic gearbox. As of now, the performance figures have not been revealed officially, but we expect it to be a lot more faster than the standard mode.

Other mechanical changes include the re-tuned Nismo-E air suspension, which adjusts the dampers in real-time for a better chassis balance and straight line stability. Additionally, the electronic power steering has also been tuned for better response at higher speeds.

The new Patrol Nismo features special 22-inch alloy wheels, made in association with RAYS. These are 23% lighter than the standard model alloy wheels and offer high traction with a special performance rubber.

2026 Nissan Patrol Nismo: Design changes

The aerodynamic package includes a new front bumper with a splitter to divert the air towards the brake calipers to cool them. 

Moreover, the new body kit includes new side skirts and a new rear bumper design with an integrated diffuser to increase high-speed stability and reduce drag. 

In terms of styling, the new Nismo front grille has air curtains to divert the airflow horizontally, while the front spoiler gets a cross-section to split the air. 

Other visual changes include the red accents across the exterior for a sporty feel, and a Formula-E-inspired rear fog light.

With all the changes and the new body kit, the Y63 Nissan Patrol Nismo is 90mm longer and 40mm wider than the standard model. 

However, the sporty body kit changes on the Nismo Patrol has made it less off-road friendly as its ground clearance is 49mm less than the standard model. Moreover, its approach, departure, and breakover angles are all less than the standard Patrol.

It is available in White Pearl, Black Pearl, Grey Metallic, and Blue Metallic exterior colours. Meanwhile, the top-spec Nismo Patrol Y63 is available with a special Stealth Grey colour option.

2026 Nissan Patrol Nismo: Interior and features

The cabin design of the new Patrol Nismo Y63 is identical to the standard model, but it features the unique sporty theme of the black and red colour contrast.

The leather upholstery features a sporty black theme with red colour stitching across the seats, door pads, centre console, dashboard, and red colour seat belts. The Nismo branding on the seats also enhance the sporty appeal of the cabin.

There are red accents on the dashboard and the centre console, while the push button start/stop is finished in red, similar to the sports cars.

Meanwhile, the pedals are finished with a race-style design aluminium finish for better grip.

Other features of the new Patrol Nismo Y63 include the connected screen panel, Nissan Pro Pilot 3 ADAS, wireless connectivity, rear seat individual entertainment package, four-zone climate control, wireless charging, ambient lights, and more.

2026 Nissan Patrol Nismo: UAE launch and price

With the debut of the new Patrol Nismo Y63, Nissan has promised that it will be launched in the UAE, GCC, and the Middle East in July 2025.
