Porsche 911 Turbo S Hybrid: Engine and specs

The main highlight of the new-gen 911 Turbo S is its 911 GTS-sourced 3.6-litre, flat-six engine. However, unlike GTS, which uses a single electric turbocharger, the Turbo S has two of them. These are backed by a 1.9kWh battery that spools the turbo electrically before the turbo kicks in, thus eliminating the turbo lag completely.

Therefore, the power output is rated at 701 bhp and the torque at 800 Nm, making it the most powerful 911 ever made. As a result, it can reach a top speed of 322 km/h, while 0-100 km/h can be done in just 2.5 seconds.

Moreover, it gets the largest ceramic brakes ever fitted on a Porsche. The front rotor is 420mm, while the rear rotor size is 410mm. It also gets the Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control or PDDC.

Despite the addition of 85 kg of weight, Porsche has countered the body control well due to the revised chassis design. The new Turbo S also completed the Nurburgring lap 14 seconds quicker than the old-gen car.

Visually, the new 911 Turbo S looks identical to the other Porsches. However, it features the Turbonite exterior and interior trim to differentiate it from the rest of the lineup.

It is wider than the Carrera model, gets air intakes in front of the rear wheels, has a ducktail spoiler, and is equipped with the new 20-inch (Front) and 21-inch (Rear) monoblock alloy wheels. The LED headlights have also been tweaked for a new outlook.

UAE launch date and expected price

The new 2026 Porsche 911 Turbo S T-Hybrid is expected to launch in the UAE next year. It will be positioned around AED 900,000, as per our anticipation.

It will be available in coupe and convertible body styles. Additionally, customers will get multiple customisation options as well, which, of course, will attract additional prices.

Our verdict

The new-generation Porsche 911 Turbo S is not just a beautiful-looking two-door sports car, but it is also the most powerful and thrilling Porsche car to drive. It will soon land in the Middle East, as the region is known for loving Porsche sports cars due to high sales.
