What to expect from the 2027 BMW M5?
Neue Klasse exterior design

The biggest update on the upcoming M5 will be the “Neue Klasse” design language. The spy shots reveal the new set of headlights that are stretched over to the side fenders, and a smaller BMW kidney grille, which clarifies that the new M5 will look much different from the current version.
Although the test car spotted at Nurburgring was completely camouflaged, the side profile does showcase the new set of low-profile alloy wheels, retractable door handles, and a largely unchanged shoulder profile.

However, the rear end design is likely to get a set of more cleaner and sleeker LED lights, along with a new diffuser for better handling and performance.
Modern interior and features

Following the exterior “Neue Klasse” design, the interior is also likely to get some modern changes. These will include the BMW’s trademark Panoramic Display that stretches from A-pillar to A-pillar.
Along with this full-width display, it will also include a bigger infotainment screen with the latest BMW Operating System X. The steering wheel is also updated with a flat-bottom design and physical buttons.

BMW is also going to eliminate the iconic iDrive rotary dial system with the updated M5. That said, the current BMW M5 will be the last car with this system worldwide.
Same engine specs

Under the bonnet, BMW has confirmed that it will continue using the current model’s 4.4-litre V8 bi-turbo petrol engine that develops 717 bhp and 1,000 Nm of power and torque. This drivetrain will be paired to a dual-clutch 9-speed automatic transmission and an RWD system.
The 14.8 kWh hybrid battery is likely to be retained as well. However, the source claims that the AC charging will be enhanced in speed.
When will it launch in the UAE?
The BMW M5 is a popular car worldwide, and it has a special fan base in the Middle East as well. BMW has revealed that the new G90 M5 will go into production by July 2027, and it will be launched in the US first by 2028.
Hence, we can safely say that it will be introduced in the UAE by 2028, probably in the second half.
