Ferrari has introduced the drop-top version of the Amalfi GT sports car, called the Ferrari Amalfi Spider. The all-new drop-top GT will be launched in the international market, including the UAE, in the coming months. Check out its complete details below.

What is the Ferrari Amalfi Spider?
The all-new Ferrari Amalfi Spider is a drop-top soft-top convertible version of the Amalfi Coupe. It is based on the Amalfi GT Coupe, and it features exactly the same design and features as its hard-top counterpart.
The only difference that sets the Spider apart from the Coupe is its soft top. Ferrari claims that this soft-top can be closed/opened in 13.5 seconds with a maximum operational speed of up to 60 km/h.
Moreover, the Amalfi Spider features a special exclusive exterior colour called Rosso Tramonto. The soft top is available in six shade options, and it weighs only 220 kg when stowed, which offers a functional boot space of 172 litres.
Apart from the new exclusive colour and the soft top, the Amalfi Spider is exactly the same as the Amalfi GT.
Ferrari Amalfi Spider: Engine specs and performance
Powering the new Ferrari Amalfi Spider is the same 3.9-litre, V8, twin-turbo petrol engine as the GT. This powerhouse develops 640 bhp and 760 Nm of peak power and torque. This powerplant is mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and a rear-wheel drive system.
Despite weighing 86 kg more than the GT version, the Amalfi Spider offers the same performance as its hard top counterpart. The Amalfi Spider can sprint 0-100 km/h in 3.3 seconds, and it has a limited top speed of 320 km/h.
When will it launch in the UAE?
Ferrari has yet to announce the launch timeline of the Amalfi Spider for the UAE, but we suspect that it will launch later this year.
