Speaking of the details, the Ask Maps feature will be displayed on the vehicle’s infotainment screen, which uses Gemini AI to help users navigate and ask questions. Ask Maps uses a conversational tone by using the Gemini AI, which makes everyday commutes far easier.

Google says that the Ask Maps feature lets you visualise your options by displaying 3D buildings and other details, and using a conversational tone to help you understand better. It even lets you plan your travel by receiving input via voice, and then sorting the navigation, food stops, fuel stops, and itinerary.

On the other hand, Google Maps now includes Immersive Navigation, which uses 3D graphics for buildings, displaying the road signs, and also recognising pedestrian crossings, clearly displaying the flyovers and turns, so that users do not miss any turn.
