Kia has released the first official photos of the next-generation Telluride ahead of its official debut at the LA Auto Show 2025. Read below what we know so far about the 2027 Kia Telluride.

What is new on the 2027 Kia Telluride?

The first official photo set of the new-generation Telluride shows that Kia’s flagship SUV has grown bigger and bolder in size and looks. As per the details known so far, it is 2.3 inches longer in size, which has resulted in 3 inches more wheelbase.

Apart from the bigger size, the new Tellruide has a more squared-off design. The front profile is dominated by the new vertical LED lights, a new grille, and a new bonnet. The bumper is also redesigned for a more rugged look.

On the side, it gets a clean outlook with the slightly flared fenders, new alloy wheels, flush door handles, and black functional roof rails. However, it is the rear that grabs the most attention with its Range Rover-esque vertical lights and the clean tailgate design with Telluride lettering.

Kia will debut the new-generation Telluride in the US initially. It will also get the X-Pro variant, which is essentially an off-road-spec version with high ground clearance, off-road wheels, a different front grille, and flared wheel arches.

Interior and features

The cabin design of the new model looks heavily inspired by the Kia EV9. It gets a connected dashboard with the doorpads, giving it a streamlined outlook.

The talking points are the new three-spoke steering wheel, a new curved connected screen display, and new seats with improved comfort and support. The released photos show a new interior theme draped in premium leather.

While the features are yet to be revealed, we expect it to get the following equipment:

Engine specs

The powertrain details of the new-gen Telluride will be revealed at the LA Auto Show officially. But, we expect it to get a new 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine making 257 bhp and 352 Nm. However, online rumours hint at a new 2.5-litre turbo petrol plug-in hybrid engine as well.

UAE launch and price

The new-generation Kia Telluride will debut at the LA Auto Show, which is set to take place from November 21-30. The first batch of the new model is expected to be available in the US by the first quarter of 2026.

We expect the new Tellruide to debut in the UAE later next year. It will be priced above the current model, which starts from AED 123,000.
