2027 Kia Telluride: Everything you need to know

The new teaser images of the upcoming Telluride show a new, bigger, and bolder SUV. The Telluride is the flagship model of Kia, and it is scheduled to enter its newest generation on November 20.

As visible in the images, it now features a new set of vertical LED DRLs and headlights, a new front grille with a bold outlook, and an upright stance. Similarly, the side profile now features chiselled panels, new alloys, and an overall boxy shape.

The rear images are yet to be released, but the earlier spied test mules have shown the new vertical LED taillight setup with a connected lightbar, a roof-mounted spoiler, and a new tailgate design.

The new-generation Telluride will be 65 mm longer than the current-gen model, and it will offer 70 mm more wheelbase, which means more cabin space for the rear passengers.

New interiors and modern features

The interiors of the new-gen model are likely to get a massive upgrade. We are expecting a new dashboard with a triple-connected screen layout, a new steering wheel, a redesigned centre console, and new door panels.

Kia will upgrade the seats for more comfort and convenience. In terms of features, it will get the Lidar safety, AI-assisted voice commands, augmented reality HUD, and wireless connectivity with a rear seat infotainment package.

New engines and better specifications

Powering the new-generation Telluride will be the new 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine making 287bhp/352Nm, a new 3.8-litre V6 petrol engine making 291bhp/355Nm (AWD), and a 2.5-litre hybrid engine with a 1.65kWh battery offering 329bhp/460Nm.

Kia will offer the X-Line and X-Pro variants, which will come equipped with off-road tyres, raised suspension, rugged body kits, electronic limited-slip differentials, improved approach and departure angles, and an under-bonnet view for off-roading.

The X-Pro variant will be specifically designed for off-roading enthusiasts, and it will feature rugged bumpers, red recovery tow hooks, and a lifted suspension.

When will the new Kia Telluride launch in the UAE?

Kia will reveal the new-gen Telluride at the Los Angeles Auto Show on November 20, 2025. It will debut in the US initially next year and will later be followed by the other markets, including the UAE.

We are expecting it to launch in Dubai and the Middle East by mid-2026 at an expected starting price of AED 165,000.
