Ferrari has introduced a new ‘Handling Speciale’ package for the Purosangue crossover owners in Italy. This new package offers improved performance, subtle design updates, and a better driving feel due to the improved control. Read below what is special about the Ferrari Purosangue Handling Speciale.

What is the Ferrari Purosangue Handling Speciale package?

The newly introduced ‘Handling Speciale’ package for the Purosangue offers a recalibrated suspension setup, gearbox, and improved aural experience inside the cabin. This new package is currently available in Italy at 430,000 Euros (approximately AED 1,845,754).

Speaking of what it offers, the Handling Speciale package includes a retuned suspension that Ferrari claims to reduce 10% body movements, thus increasing the control and grip during the quick manoeuvres.

Additionally, the 8-speed transmission is now much quicker and more aggressive to shift post 5,500 rpm. However, this tuning is only notable when the car is being driven with the paddle shifters in the Race Mode with the ESC or electronic stability control switched off.

Meanwhile, to further accentuate the driving feel, Ferrari has increased the engine rumble during start-up or when being driven hard.

On the cosmetic side, the Handling Package adds sporty bits to the exterior. It features the new 22-inch front and 23-inch rear lightweight alloy wheels, blacked-out Prancing Horse logo at the rear, black and white Ferrari logo on the front side fenders, carbon-fibre side skirts and body kit, satin-finished Ferrari lettering, and matte-black exhaust tips.

The cabin has received two updates: an addition of the Handling Package plaque between the front seats, and the Handling Speciale door sills. On the other hand, it remains powered by the 6.5-litre, V12, naturally aspirated petrol engine that makes 725 bhp and 716 Nm. The power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed DCT gearbox.

Currently, the Purosangue sports car with the Handling Package is available in Italy only. However, we expect it to be launched in the UAE in the coming months.
