Developed by Huawei and JAC, the Maextro S800 sedan went on sale in China in August 2025. Within months, it has outperformed the segment toppers like the Porsche Panamera, BMW 7 Series, and the Maybach S-Class in China.

So, what makes it so popular? Well, the Maextro S800 offers the best-in-class technology, premium cabin experience, and luxury features that outperform the rivals by miles. The Maextro S800 is also priced aggressively, starting from 708,000 yuan, approximately AED 372,846, and goes up to 1,018,000 yuan or approximately AED 583,494.

With its unique styling and hand-made double-coach design, the Maextro S800 features an immersive interior experience, which is loaded with high-grade soft-touch leather upholstery, and features like a full-width triple screen dashboard, a 76-inch augmented reality head-up display, and a 43-speaker sound system with headrest-integrated speakers.

However, since it has been designed for an exhilarating chauffeur experience, the rear passenger seats get amenities like individual infotainment packages, massaging seats with retractable extended leg support, and technological sorcery like the auto-dimming rear windows that work with a single finger swipe, aka privacy curtains.

The Huawei Maextro S800 is a long vehicle as it measures 5,480 mm in length and has a wheelbase of 3,370 mm, providing the best space for the rear passengers.

The Huawei Maextro S800 is available in EV and EREV avatars. The BEV model features a 95 kWh battery with a dual-motor setup, offering 523 bhp power and 702 km CLTC-claimed range.
Meanwhile, the EREV version is offered with two options: a 390 kW (523 bhp) single motor option, and a 635 kW (852 bhp) dual motor setup. Both setup options are paired with a 1,5-litre petrol generator that offers 154 bhp and a 65 kWh battery with a pure electric range of 365-400 km. The cumulative range of the EREV is more than 1,000 km.
Sales figures of the Huawei Maextro S800
As per the latest sales data released by the Haidaxing ECC, 4,376 units of the Maextro S800 were sold in December 2025 in China. This is nearly four times the Maybach S-Class, which sold 1,118 units in comparison.
