Chinese car manufacturer JAC Motors has launched three new models in the UAE. It is officially distributed by Al Habtoor Motors in the Middle East. The new models include a premium SUV, an MPV, and a pickup truck. Read all the details below.

JAC JS6 Pro SUV details

The all-new JAC JS6 Pro is a tech-loaded family SUV that offers luxury and the latest tech. It is a compact SUV that is based on a sleek design. 

The front gets a connected LED light setup with chiselled bonnet and bodyline, while the SUV rides on the diamond-cut 18-inch wheels. The rear design is enhanced with connected LED lights and a sloping roofline with a roof-integrated spoiler.

In terms of the dimensions, it measures 4,605 mm in length, 1,890 mm in width, and 1,700 mm in height. The wheelbase of the JS6 Pro is 2,720 mm.

On the inside, it comes loaded with a 24.6-inch dual-connected screen display, wireless charging, ambient lights, a powered tailgate, electric seats with ventilation, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, rear AC vents, and more.

Powering the JS6 Pro is the 1.5-litre turbo petrol TGDI engine that is paired with a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission. It offers 181 bhp of power and 300 Nm of torque.

JAC RF8 MPV details

The second model from JAC is the RF8 premium MPV, which targets chauffeur-driven customers in the UAE. It looks similar to the Toyota Vellfire, as it gets a similar tallboy design loaded with a chrome grille and electronically sliding rear doors.

The RF8 comes loaded with top-notch features such as the captain seats with extended thigh support and ventilation, second-row seats with memory and massage features, a rear individual infotainment system, wireless connectivity, 64-bit lighting, a full-size moonroof, a 12-speaker Sony sound system, ADAS safety, and more.

Powering the RF8 MPV is a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo petrol engine that makes 253 bhp of peak power and 400 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

JAC T8 Pro pickup truck details

The third product launch of JAC in the UAE is a Toyota Hilux rival called T8 Pro. The pickup truck is loaded with a practical design and a powerful engine to carry on everyday luggage ferrying, along with interior comfort and safety.

The T8 Pro has a long loading bed with a payload capacity of 900 kg, and a double wishbone suspension that offers a stable yet confident ride quality. It also gets a high ground clearance of 210 mm.

The interiors of the T8 Pro offer a basic yet practical feel, and come loaded with the bells and whistles like a 7-inch digital console, a 10.4-inch infotainment screen, and more.

Powering the T8 Pro pickup truck in the UAE is a Mitsubishi-sourced (4K22) 2.4-litre turbo petrol engine that makes 211 bhp and 320 Nm. It is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and offers maximum torque from 1,900 rpm.

The T8 Pro truck can be bought with the 2WD and 4WD configurations in the UAE.

Prices and availability in the UAE

JAC Motors has not announced the price details of the above mentioned cars yet. However, interested customers can book their cars at Al Habtoor Motors showrooms, and the deliveries are scheduled to commence in the coming weeks.
