2026 Geely Cityray - Design and features

The new Geely Cityray is suspended over the Compact Modular Architecture platform from the brand. The new CMA platform has helped it in achieving the segment-best wheelbase of 2,701 mm.

The exterior design of the Cityray is modern, sharp, and futuristic. It also boasts the advanced features like the connected LED lights, 19-inch machine-cut alloy wheels, improved stability, and black contrast roof.

On the inside, the Cityray features a unique console design that embeds a 10.2-inch digital screen for information display. 

It also gets a big 13.2-inch vertical screen for infotainment and HVAC controls, which supports 2k graphics.

Other creature comfort features include ambient lighting, leather upholstery, electric seats with ventilation, panoramic sunroof, wireless smartphone connectivity, wireless charging, and more.

Safety features

The new Cityray model features advanced safety functions. These include - six airbags, a 540-degree camera monitoring, adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, blind spot detection, and automatic emergency braking.

2026 Geely Cityray - Engine, specs, and performance

The Cityray SUV in the UAE is powered by a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine, which develops 172 bhp and 290 Nm of peak power and torque, respectively. 

This engine is mated to a quick and smooth wet-plate 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. 

The Geely Cityray is a FWD car, and it can sprint from 0-100 km/h in 7.9 seconds, which is claimed to be the fastest in its segment.

2026 Geely Cityray - UAE price, colours, rivals

The new Cityray crossover is available in four colours: Silver, White, Blue, and Grey. The UAE price tag of the Cityray is AED 86,500 (excluding VAT).
