2027 Mercedes-Benz GLB interior details

The newly released interior photos of the next-generation GLB SUV showcase its new cabin silhouette. The new model will feature a lot of identical features and design traits with the CLA sedan.
It features a vertical dashboard design, something we saw on the new-gen CLA. Enhancing the dashboard are the triple digital screens, which include a 10.25-inch instrument console and twin 14-inch infotainment screens.

Although there are physical buttons underneath the full-width screen display on the dashboard, they are related to the HVAC controls. Accentuating the luxurious feel are the dual-tone leather interiors with new door panels, a redesigned centre console, and high-quality brushed aluminium highlights all inside the cabin.

The new-gen GLB also gets the starlight moonroof, which has lately become the norm in all the new-gen Mercedes cars. However, we suspect that this feature, along with the passenger screen and the augmented reality HUD, will be offered as optional accessories.

The new-gen GLB will remain a three-row SUV that will focus on family comfort and space. It will get the reclining rear seats with memory and ventilation features (optional). Moreover, it will come loaded with the Brumester sound system, level 2 ADAS safety, AI-assisted voice commands, and the latest MBUX software.
Engine specs and EV variants
The new-gen GLB is likely going to be based on the 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine carried from the new CLA. This engine will be paired with an 8-speed DCT automatic gearbox and the trademark 4MATIC all-wheel drive system.
There is also a fully electric version of the new-gen GLB under development. It is likely to be called GLB EQ, and will offer strong performance and long-range.
When will it launch?
Mercedes plans to launch the new-gen GLB in the global market, including the Middle East, by early 2027. However, the car is likely to be revealed by the end of next year.
Cars24 UAE says
The new-gen Mercedes-Benz GLB will be a heavily revamped version of the current model. It will not only offer enhanced performance and luxury but will also focus on efficiency and a smooth cabin experience. More details are likely to surface in the coming months.
