Nissan has unveiled the first set of photos of its upcoming Tekton SUV. The new compact SUV is based on the new-gen Renault Duster’s platform, and its design is inspired by the 2025 Nissan Patrol. Read below what to expect from it, and when it will launch in the UAE.

What to expect from the Nissan Tekton?

The upcoming Tekton SUV is based on an all-new platform, which is also going to be shared with the next-generation Renault Duster. The Tekton is a compact SUV, and it will rival the Hyundai Creta, MG ZS, and the Suzuki Grand Vitara in the global market.

The first set of photos released by Nissan shows a butch and modern design that has been inspired by the 2025 Patrol SUV. On the front, it features a C-shaped connected headlight setup with an illuminated Nissan logo and Tekton badging on the bonnet.

The front fascia gets a rugged-looking bumper with large air dams finished in silver accents. Similar to the front, the side profile gets air vents beneath the front fenders, finished in the silver accent.

The side profile also features the new multi-spoke machine-cut alloys, inspired by the Patrol SUV’s design. The rear quarter has a big bulge, and the rear door handles are neatly integrated into the C-pillars.

The rear design features a connected C-shaped LED taillight setup, which mimics the flagship Patrol SUV. The roof-mounted spoiler adds to the sporty persona of the design.

What about the interiors and features of the Nissan Tekton?

Nissan is yet to unveil the interior design and feature details of the Tekton. However, a faint image of the dashboard (passenger side), shows a tri-colour design with piano black accents and a gold highlight on the AC vent and the dashboard.

The soft-touch leather is also visible in the shared image. We can safely assume that the Tekton will be loaded with modern features like connected display, wireless connectivity, panoramic sunroof, dual-zone AC, and ADAS safety.
