While every Range Rover SUV is unique in its own way, the British carmaker has gone one step further with the Mirror Paint customisation option. As its name suggests, the Mirror Paint offers a unique, smooth, and special outlook to the SUV due to its superior quality and handcrafted application method.

The company claims that the Mirror Paint option is only available for the bespoke customers for the SV, Autobiography, and Sport models. This paint offers a super reflective finish that looks like patent leather or like a polished stone.

As per the company, it took extensive research by engineers and artisans to understand the luxury materials so that the Mirror Finish Paint could be developed. This hand-painted method is certified to offer a mirror-like, deep finish that is 25% smoother than the standard paint.

What makes the Range Rover Mirror Paint special?

Unlike the regular paint, the Mirror Paint is a slow process as it involves a complete handcraft and a lot of patience. It is a three-day process, which involves hand-painting, sanding, and extensive polishing methods to achieve a deep, glossy finish.

The unique part is that every single unit is readied by a single dedicated team per car, which takes the process from the beginning to the end. Every special unit is hand-painted in the special Bespoke paint booths.

The process involves the application of a thick top-coat lacquer for depth and extreme gloss. Once the paint is applied, every inch of the vehicle is scanned by the wave scanners for microscopic imperfections. Hence, the end result is a 25% smoother and ‘mirror-like’ paint.

What is the cost of the Range Rover Mirror Paint?

Speaking of the cost of the Mirror Paint, the Bespoke customers need to contact their nearest Range Rover dealership. Since the company has not put any standard price to this paint option, customers will need to pay a hefty price as per the customisation options they opt for.

Assuming that the base model of the Range Rover is priced at AED 350,000 (approximately), the Mirror Paint will cost a lot more than this sticker price.
