What will be new on the 2027 Hyundai Creta?
The next-generation Hyundai Creta is currently undergoing development and road testing. It is expected to debut globally in early 2027, and following the debut, it will be introduced in the UAE as well.
New interior design and Pleos Connect system

The latest spy shots of a test car have surfaced from the US. While the exterior is camouflaged to hide the details, a close-up spy shot of the dashboard has leaked its new interior design.
The test car is equipped with Hyundai’s latest Pleos Connect infotainment system. The latter was debuted with the Hyundai Ioniq 3 EV recently, and it is expected to change the complete in-car infotainment experience on the new-gen Creta.
The Pleos Connect infotainment is positioned at the centre of the new dashboard of the test car. The large screen is mounted with a free-standing design, and it packs numerous features that include the infotainment, HVAC controls, and even car controls.
The Pleos Connect system can be updated regularly with OTA or over-the-air updates. The hardware does not need to change, and the OTA updates can add new features like suspension and engine tuning. The latter can add various configurations, which users can switch as per their requirements.
While this particular test car could not reveal other interior features, the previous shots have already revealed the new spacious cabin with redesigned seats, a new dashboard, and a new steering wheel.
Moreover, the Pleos Connect system also displays the speedometer and MID functions, thus eliminating the need for a driver console in the Ioniq 3 EV. The latter uses a small digital screen to display the crucial information to the driver, while the rest of the functions are embedded in the new infotainment screen system.
Exterior updates and a new platform

The upcoming generation of Creta will share its platform with the 2026 Kia Seltos, which was recently introduced in India. The new Kia K3 platform allows for a stretched body and wider stance, thus offering better rear seat space.
Hence, we can safely say that the next-generation Creta will offer a similar footprint. Additionally, it will debut a completely new exterior design language with boxy proportions and new dual-tone alloy wheels that are visible in the new spy images.
The extended platform will also increase the boot space, adding more practicality for families.
New hybrid engine

With the third-generation Creta, Hyundai is likely to introduce a new HEV or hybrid engine option. It is likely to be a 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine that will be paired with a battery pack and a single electric motor. The online reports hint that this engine will deliver upwards of 25 km/l of fuel efficiency.
When will the next-generation Hyundai Creta launch?
The next-generation Creta is likely to debut in South Korea later this year. It will be subsequently launched in India and other priority markets, and later it will land in the Middle East.
We believe that the new Creta could be launched in the UAE by the second half of next year.
Cars24 UAE says
The upcoming generation of the Hyundai Creta SUV will be more advanced and hi-tech than ever before. It will also become bigger in size and offer a new hybrid engine for improved performance and efficiency. It is expected to be launched in the Middle East next year.
