Toyota has released the first set of photos of its upcoming sporty version of the Camry sedan. Called the Toyota Camry GT-S, this one-off model is set to debut at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas next month. Read every detail below.

What is the Toyota Camry GT-S?

The upcoming Camry GT-S variant has been derived by working on the standard Camry model. All the work has been done to make a one-off display model, which signifies the sporty factor of Camry.

On the outside, it features a special “Inferno Flare” orange exterior paint, which has been matched with the black contrast highlights. 

The car also comes with an aero active kit that features a front splitter, rear diffuser, and a body kit with side skirts and the special 20-inch monoblock alloy wheels.

Other details include the blacked-out badges and GT-S badging and low-profile performance tyres. It also features a lowered suspension for better ride and handling. 

The suspension has been lowered by 1.5 inches or 38 mm. Overall, the GT-S version looks ultra sporty with the cosmetic add-ons.

On the inside, it features a similar layout to the standard car. However, it does get the GT-S bading on the seats, door sills, and the centre console. Moreover, it features sporty seats and “Inferno Flare” orange seatbelts.

Engine and specs of the Toyota Camry GT-S

Powering the Camry GT-S is the same 2.5-litre four-cylinder hybrid engine as the standard car. It generates 232 bhp of peak power. However, Toyota says that the GT-S concept version has been made to attract a crowd at the SEMA Show 2025.

This year’s SEMA is being held from November 4-7 in Las Vegas, US. Toyota is also going to display a new FJ60 Land Cruiser with a powerful turbo V6 engine.

When will it launch?

Sadly, Toyota has no plans to launch the Camry GT-S in a production guise. Earlier this year, the brand had launched a Sprint Edition in the global market, which had similar sporty cosmetic changes. 

The Camry is one of the most popular cars in the world and it remains one of the top demanded among the second hand cars in the UAE.
