BMW iX3 EV: Design

The new iX3 is the second-generation model. Unlike the first-generation, it is based on an all-electric ‘Neue Klasse’ platform that offers enhanced performance, range, and versatility.

It debuts the all-new design language with the new front fascia that is equipped with new LED lights, an illuminated grille and logo, and a new rear shape with striking LED taillights.

The side profile is loaded with square wheel arches, 20-inch aerodynamic alloy wheels, and flush door handles.

BMW iX3 EV: Interiors

The cabin design of the new iX3 sees a radical transformation. The new interiors are equipped with a double-decker dashboard that has a new full-width panoramic screen for displaying speedometer and other feature controls.

Another design addition is the new four-spoke steering wheel with 90-degree spokes and double D-cut. The infotainment screen is also designed in a unique diagonal manner.

Meanwhile, BMW’s new platform offers a flat floor design that enhances space on the rear. The seats are new with better cushioning, and the interiors are made from high-quality materials.

The second-generation iX3 is equipped with an 800V architecture. It comes with a 108.7 kWh battery that is mated to dual electric motors producing 463 bhp and 645 Nm of power and torque.

It can sprint 0-100 km/h in 4.9 seconds and has a top speed of 210 km/h. The WLTP-claimed range of the new iX3 is up to 805 km.

In terms of charging, it can be charged 10-80% in 21 minuntes as it supports up to 400 kW fast charging. A range of 372 km can be added in just 10 minutes of charging.

BMW iX3 EV: UAE launch and price

The current generation of the iX3 EV is unavailable in the UAE. We suspect that the new iX3 will launch in the Middle East next year.

The expected price of the 2026 BMW iX3 EV in the UAE is AED 200,000.
