Everything to know about the Tesla Model 3 Standard
The new Tesla Model 3 Standard variant has been curated for the budget-friendly EV buyers. It made its global debut in November 2025 in the USA, and now the Standard variant is available in the UAE at AED 144,990.
While the Standard variant looks similar to the other variants, it features fewer technologies to save costs. The front-end, for example, does not get the connected LED lightbar, although it does come with the new front camera that offers a wider field of view.
Similarly, it rides on the smaller 18-inch alloy wheels, which are smaller than those of the other variants. However, customers can opt for the 19-inch wheels as an option.
In terms of cargo space, the Model 3 Standard offers up to 621 litres, and 88 litres of frunk space. By folding the rear seats of the EV, the total storage space can be expanded up to 1,659 litres.
Meanwhile, the Standard variant misses out on the panoramic sunroof, electric steering adjustment, rear screens, and a smaller 7-speaker sound system. However, it does retain the 15.4-inch touchscreen panel, AutoPilot, Sentry Mode, and other critical features.
Battery specs, performance, and range
Powering the Tesla Model 3 Standard is an RWD system and an LFP battery that offers an WLTP-claimed range of 534 km on a full charge. In terms of performance, it can sprint 0-100 km/h in 6.2 seconds.
Tesla claims that it consumes only 13kWh/100 km, which makes the Model 3 Standard as the most efficient electric vehicle in the world, and in the UAE as well.
The Model 3 Standard can also tow up to 1,000 kg. Meanwhile, it supports the Tesla Superchargers, adding significant juice within minutes for easy driving.
UAE price and availability
Tesla has started accepting official bookings for the Model 3 Standard in the UAE. The official deliveries are scheduled for March 2026.
