Nissan Juke EV: Everything you need to know
Â

Â
The Nissan Juke will debut in an all-electric avatar in the coming months. The brand has been developing three new EVs, which include the Juke EV as well.
Â
In a recent media interaction, Nissan Europe’s director confirmed that the Juke electric will be based on the Nissan Leaf EVs CMF-EV platform. Moreover, it will be manufactured at the UK-based facility alongside the Leaf EV to reduce cost by part sharing.
Â
However, part sharing does not mean that both cars will be similar. Nissan’s head has also confirmed that the Juke EV will have a different personality to suit its niche segment.
Â
While the Nissan Leaf EV will launch early next year globally, the Juke EV is likely to be introduced by late 2026 or early 2027 in the global markets, including the Middle East.
Â
As far as the battery specs are concerned, we believe that the Juke EV will share the battery options with the Leaf EV. The official also confirmed that the Juke EV will get a smaller battery pack than the Leaf EV.
Â
Nissan has previously revealed that the Leaf EV will get a 52 kWh and a 75 kWh NMC battery pack, which is likely to offer a range of up to 604 km. We believe that the 52 kWh battery pack will be used on the Juke EV.
Â
When will the Nissan Juke EV launch in the UAE?
Â
As far as the Juke EV's UAE launch timeline is concerned, the brand has not revealed any details. But we expect the Juke EV to be launched in Dubai by 2027.
Â
Upon launch, it will compete with brands and cars like BYD, Ynagwang, Jetour, etc.

Nissan’s new CMF-B platform is expected to be a game-changer for the brand. Nissan has been struggling with poor sales globally lately, and it is now betting on this platform and its upcoming EVs to revive its profits. The Juke EV is one of these important electric car launches, and it is expected to be launched in the UAE, too.
